About the Sleep Center
The Sleep Center at Haskell Memorial Hospital provides complete neurophysiologic testing to diagnose conditions such as sleep apnea, snoring, parasomnias, narcolepsy, periodic limb movement during sleep (PLMS), insomnia, seizures, and strokes. Sleep studies are performed using state-of-the-art computerized testing suites. Designed with patient comfort in mind, each of the two sleep lab rooms features a full-size bed with quality linens, a private bathroom, and a smart TV.

About the Program
When you choose the Sleep Center at HMH, you can rest assured your sleep study will be conducted by a trained technologist, using state-of-the-art equipment. Through the convenience of telemedicine, our sleep medicine specialist collaborates with your provider to review your results, diagnose, and develop a personalized treatment plan for you. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will take great care of you from start to finish, including insurance verification and prior authorizations. They schedule consults, studies, and follow-up appointments, as well as assist with ordering equipment if required.

Our Sleep Center Director
Dr. Rance Boren serves as Director of the HMH Sleep Center via telemedicine and works with your primary care provider to tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs. Dr. Boren is Board Certified in neurology and sleep medicine. In addition to his private practice in Brownwood, Dr. Boren also supervises the sleep lab at Hendrick Medical Center in Brownwood.
