Medicare Made Easy – Understanding the ABCs of Medicare

The photo portrays an older couple expressing confusion and says, "Medicare Made Easy: Understanding the ABCs of Medicare."

Medicare Made Easy can sound like an oxymoron! It is a topic that often leaves folks scratching their heads or throwing up their hands in confusion. But it doesn’t have to be confusing!

With open enrollment season beginning October 15, Haskell Memorial Hospital is here for you. We have invited a special guest to educate you and prepare you to make the best choices for you and your loved ones when selecting coverage.

Join us for dinner with Craig Gehrels of Winters, as he simplifies the complex aspects of Medicare. Using everyday language, Craig explains the disadvantages of Advantage plans and answers your questions about how to select your coverage as you prepare for open enrollment.

Do you already have an advantage plan and have questions about whether it is right for you? Gehrels can answer questions about that as well.

Speaking of Medicare, did you know you are entitled to an Annual Wellness Visit with your coverage? Our providers at the Haskell Rural Health Clinic are available to care for you. Click this link to meet our providers.

If you or someone you love is or will soon be eligible for this coverage, this FREE event is for you. We are even cooking supper for you, so bring a healthy appetite and all your questions! We guarantee you will leave with a better understanding of the ABCs of Medicare!
