Dr. David Shahbodaghi has joined the Haskell Rural Health Clinic and will begin seeing patients May 1.
Dr. Shahbodaghi is now accepting appointments and will provide primary care for both children and adults, expanding access to family medicine services for the Haskell community and surrounding areas.

Dr. Shahbodaghi is a board-certified family medicine physician with extensive experience in clinical care, public health, and medical leadership. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the West Virginia University School of Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health from the West Virginia University School of Public Health. He completed his internship and residency training in Family Medicine at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia, where he served as Chief Resident and later as a member of the residency’s teaching faculty.
Throughout his career, Dr. Shahbodaghi has served in both clinical and leadership roles across rural and military healthcare systems. He currently serves as a U.S. Army Reserve Major and has previously held leadership at various rural healthcare organizations, including Chief Medical Officer and hospital medical director. He also previously worked in the emergency department of Haskell Memorial Hospital.

At the Haskell Rural Health Clinic, Dr. Shahbodaghi will provide a full range of primary care services, including preventive care, routine checkups, sick visits, specialty care coordination, and chronic disease management for patients of all ages.
