Haskell Memorial Hospital Facility and Service Updates

This page will be updated as additional information becomes available.

We are pleased to share that the gas leak has been repaired, and Haskell Memorial Hospital has resumed normal operations. All hospital services are now fully operational.

Atmos Energy is currently onsite completing the repair.

Primary care services remain available at Haskell Rural Health Clinic while repairs continue at the main hospital following a gas leak. Technicians from Abilene are assisting with the necessary repairs.

Some hospital services are temporarily unavailable, including certain imaging procedures and laboratory services. MRI services remain operational.

Patients who arrive at the Emergency Department with critical or acute needs will be assessed in coordination with the hospital’s medical staff and local EMS. Patients will not be turned away.

Last week, Haskell Memorial Hospital experienced flooding amid heavy rains that affected the region and other parts of the state. The flooding damaged a transformer, which required replacement.

Haskell Memorial Hospital extends its special thanks to local EMS and the fire department for their readiness, assistance, and continued professionalism.
