Full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician


This job delivers medications to designated areas under close supervision and according to detailed instructions, policies, and procedures. This job refills and maintains automated dispensing machines; prices manual medication orders, inventories and reorders stock in the pharmacy; enters data into a computer system and prints labels as necessary; reviews physician's orders; identifies problems with orders and notifies pharmacist or nursing when orders need clarification or to request patient information (i.e., allergies, height, weight) when needed; maintains stock in all assigned areas including the IV room and other pharmacy areas including ordering supplies/medications; performs related clerical duties including typing, answering phone, filing and greeting nurses and physicians at the Pharmacy window.

FULL TIME PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT


Haskell Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for a Physical Therapist/Physical Therapy Assistant.



Physical Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities:
· Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.
· Contributes to a physical therapist's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.
· Administers treatment programs for patients.
· Assesses patients health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, asnd studing therapy histories.
· Evaluates abnormal conditions by reviewing physical therapist's interpretations of patient evaluations and test results.
· Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
· Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.
· Helps patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
· Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens, giving normal growth and development information, and promoting wellness and health mainenance.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
· Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends and monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives.
· Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations and JACHO standards.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunites, reading periodicals, maintaining personal networks, and participation in professional organizations.

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:
· Restores patient's function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and adminiserting medically prescriebed physical therapy.
· Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
· Determines physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
· Helps patient accomplish treatment plan by administering manual exercises, giving massages, and using equipment as necessary.
· Evaluates and records patient's progress, modifying treatment plans, and trying new treatments if required.
· Evalutates the use and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and observing patient's progess; and recommending adjustments and modifications.
· Documents patient care services by charting in-patient and department records.
· Instructs patients in proper in-home exercises and therapies.
· Educates patients and their families about the recovery process and the challenges they will face.

Essential Functions:
· Provide direct care of athletic injuries during practices, assigned games and scrimmages.
· Refer needed treatments to appropriate facilities.
· Arrange and contact patients/Physicians for fitting of specialized protective athletic equipment as needed.
· Communicate with coaches, parents, and other health care professionals regarding status of injured athletes and expected date of return to competition after completion of rehabilitation treatments.
· Document all reported injuries in appropriate records.
· The ability to work with in-clinic patients and understand indications and/or contradictions for standard in-clinic conditions.
· The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with patients, co-workers and managers.
· The ability to build and maintain confidence and credibility with all clients and employees.
· Maintain current knowledge of Athletic Trainer roles and continuing trends in the industry
· Perform clinical Athletic Trainer functions as needed
· Attend continuing educational courses to obtain advanced clinical skills.
· Maintain cleanliness of clinic and treatment areas
· Perform other duties as assigned by management
